CLAT is a Common Law Admission Test conducted by National Law Universities (NLU) in India. CLAT 2020 Eligibility –
- The students or candidates attending CLAT should be citizens of India.
- The students applying for Under Graduate Degree should be qualified from class 12th.
- The students applying for Post Graduation or Master’s should have an authorized degree from any university.
- There is no fixed age limit set for UG courses.
- Students should provide relevant documents.
Things to Keep in Mind While Filling Online Application Form –
- The forms will available only online, through the valid website provided by the authorities of CLAT.
- The students or candidates should provide true and valid documents while submitting the application form, in case of false documents the application form will be rejected.
- Candidate should provide valid email Id or contact details through which the exam notifications are sent to them.
- In the case of corrections, the time will be given by the exam authorities after the completion of application procedure.
- A copy of the application form has to be taken by the candidates, which will be later required while collecting the admit card.
CLAT Exam Pattern –
Before starting the preparation for the exam, the students should know about the changes that are made in the exam pattern by the official authorities of CLAT 2020. The exam pattern that will be followed by the authorities of CLAT 2020 is mentioned below –
- This year the exam will be held in offline mode.
- The duration of the exam is two hours.
- The number of questions to attempt will be 120 for UG and 150 for PG, which will be in the form of multiple-choice questions.
- Each correct answer will be given one mark, also 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total scores if any wrong answer is marked.
- The questions will be in English language only.
CLAT 2020 Syllabus –
The subjects that will be covered in the CLAT exams are English with Comprehension, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The students or aspirants can undergo coaching before attending the exam, as it may seem difficult for some candidates.
